How to read it
The flash estimate (2.9%) was published on 2 October. Small revisions of ±0.1 pts are normal — services is typically the component that moves most.
Revision →Services inflation reflects domestic wages and is the most persistent component. The ECB watches it closely for signs of embedded price pressure.
Core inflation →The euro-area aggregate masks wide variation. Some members may be above 4%; others near 1%. Country-level data lands in the final only.
